I had beeeen looking for a plum coloured lipstick, I finally found the perfect one. The Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Cutting Edge (120) glides on perfectly... and can be one coat, 2 coats or even three, depending on how deep you want the colour.
Obviously, if you want the colour to last longer, you need to apply more than 2 coats.
I am in love with this lipstick, as it moisturises and lasts for hours after applying...

A full on brick red! For those of us that don't wear blue reds! Easy hand as the intensity deepens with a heavy hand! Long lasting and gorgeous against my complexion! Its a red brown with a bit of a fruity smell! The only thing i don't like is the cheap looking packaging and that the cap seems a little loose even when you close it! Because its long wearing it can feel a little drying! I love the traffic stopping feeling it gives me!
