Directions say it can be used by wiping off on a damp cotton swab, or rinsing. I prefer rinsing. My skin did feel clean afterwards, but no more than usual. I don't really like milky cleansers. I prefer soap cleansers. If it has bubbles and removes makeup, then I'm happy. This cleanser was nice, but I wouldn't buy it for myself. However, I must say that my skin didn't feel dry afterwards like with most other cleansers. Packaging: The product boasts a 'green' approach. The bottles are recyclable, and I really loved the "wooden" caps. It really looks like wood veneer! The bottle itself is attractive in an understated, classy kind of way. I liked the blue colour and the font used. The product is hypo-allergenic, 100% fragance free, non comedogenic and clinically tested by dermatologists to ensure that no allergies are experienced.
