I am very sceptical when it comes to feet products. Mostly because I don't really believe that they work all that well. Promises of "happier" feet and softer feet have…
Something's got to be said about a product if a client of a TOP brand (that rhymes with alroy shane) decides to switch sides. My aunt (62 years old and looking super hot) has done just that. Because my uncle is heading towards retirement at the end of the year she decided she would get herself into the habit of using a cheaper product that would help with the fine lines under and around her eyes (lucky that they're only fine lines at her age). She decided to try the Vitamin C serum from Hey Gorgeous. Not only did it help with the fine lines but it also helped with her skin tone. She had tiny (ok they weren't really dark... but rather noticable) marks on her skin. They are so much lighter now and she looks fantastic. Here's the wise of it: Vitamin C is a powerful nutrient to repair aging, stimulate collagen production, heal acne scars, and brighten the skin. The serum contains 20% L-Ascorbic Vitamin C which produces excellent results. My aunt is the reason I got hooked on Hey Gorgeous in the first place. If she vouches for a product then you know it's goooooood. And the best part - it is suitable for all ages. It's never too early to start looking after your skin. Oh wait... the best part is really that it is 100% vegan and organic and was never ever ever tested on Animals! High scores all around!!
I am very happy that The Body shop has a loyalty program, because I am such an addict that come pay back time, I can litterally buy my entire month's body shop supplies with my vouchers. Almond is one of my favorite smells and the beautifying properties of almond in nature is just to die for. The Body shop does an amazing job at bringing us the different flavours Mother Earth has to offer in a lovely container. Yes, these products are more expensive, but they are amazing and The Bod shop always has specials like a buy 2 get 1 free type of deal. Or apply for your loyalty card. Doesn't cost a cent and you get back. Also feel good in knowing that you're supporting a brand that doesn't test on animals and devotes itself to a greener tomorrow.
I've been struggling with cellulite for years (since high school) but lately it has become a bigger problem for me (probably because I'm getting older and I have yet to walk on the beach in my bikini). I've tried everything - cupping, creams and pills promising better, healthier looking skin, but nothing has really worked. I'm sorry ladies (because I'm detecting a glimmer of hope there), I'm afraid this is not your miracle cream answer to your cellulite prayers. But there might be hope yet - I have felt a difference in my skin elasticity as well as some cm loss after using Seaverah (first 2 bottles). And some of the cellulite has gone away but I won't advise you to pay R500 per bottle. Rather look out for the specials on Groupon and (just a tip) follow up on delivery because I had a slight issue in that regard. Here's what I'm doing: 1. Exercise (at least 4 times a week and I take a 3k jog on a Sunday morning - nothing hectic) 2. Try to avoid alcohol (I mean, if you're drinking every night you have a problem) Try to cut down a bit 3. Take "Women" vitamins by Vital or/and Omega 3 suppliments (very good for your skin) 4. use some sort of cellulite cream every morning and at night after a bath or shower 5. use Bellabaci cups in the shower or bath (The heat helps a bit) 6. use a derma roller when using cellulite cream As you can see it's not an easy task but you can keep the cellulite to a minimum and Seaverah may help you to shed a little, but don't expect too much.
I usually attach the a fragrance to the first time I smelled it or a to a memory. When I smelled this beaut the first time I was having a blast with my friends. So this review might just be based on my own experience #selfabsorbed. I've read up on the different notes of the perfume: Top notes - pear, neroli, bergamot (Pause) Now, Neroli essential oil possesses mystic qualities of evoking various emotions from a person. They range from happiness to sexual desires. Pear and bergamot are know for being mood lifters. CAN ANYONE SAY HAPPINESS!!! Middle notes - Lilly of the Valley, Jasmine (having a calming effect) and heliotrope. Base notes - Vanilla (yum), sandalwood and musk cream (sounds like an awesome milkshake) The combination of all of the above gives you an amazingly uplifting and calming, sweet smell that lingers. And it is so affordable (R189) for the EDT and (R199) for the EDP. This is definately one of my favorites.
I've mentioned in one of my previous reviews that I am a sucker for OsH. I've coined the term "Oh so Heavenly Savant" and it's because I am so loyal…
I was blessed with a lovely youthful looking skin. Even though my popularity in school was sub par my amazing skin usually had the really popular girls jealous. With my hectic lifestyle: demanding job, studies, house chores and extracurricular activities, my time for a proper beauty regimen was very limited. My step sister told me about a special Avon was running on the Anew Day cream, Night cream and the eye cream and suggested I buy it - which I did and I'm not sorry for one second. Now I use facial wipes before I apply the creams in the morning and at night. My skin feels silkier and the tone is even. The Rejuvenate Revitalizing Day cream is also a SPF25 sunscreen and because of this reason I was scared of oiliness, but to my surprise all I felt was a soft, silky skin. The Rejuvenate Revitalizing Night cream feels like velvet on my skin and absorbs quickly. I slathered it on just before going to bed and the next morning I swear a wrinkle was gone. The day and night eye creams come in one container - very convenient. I got all three for R290.00 but the normal price is plus minus R250.00 for each, but it goes a long way.
