I love the fact that these pencils are retractable and don't require any sharpening. The colour payoff is really nice. They can be a bit drying, but they do last really well on the lips. They are extremely affordable and I would definitely repurchase. There a few colors to choose from. Sometimes I line my lips and just fill it in with the same liner as its a really pretty color . Its in between a pink and light mauve color which is perfect for blending with medium toned pink lipsticks I love retractable liners as there isn't any sharpening required which makes life very easy when you in a hurry and cant find a sharpener . They are my go-to lipliners for whatever shade of lipstick I want to wear. The fact that it is retractable is what made me buy them for the first time many moons ago. There have been many brands that followed suit with Avon's retractable liners, yet this has stayed a firm favourite of mine for years. Im enjoying the long wear and intense colour. It's super soft and lasted me a solid 4hrs without having to reapply. Liked that it set to the lip appon application without bleeding of the lipstick. It really holds the lipstick well. Overall it's 99bucks which is for me pricey for an Avon product. Prefer buying the more well known brands which do the same and a little more. It also glides on smoothly. Unfortunately I can not say the same of the Glimmerstick for lips. I have one in Brick. The colour is not the same as indicated on the back of the Glimmerstick and it does not glide on as smoothly as the one for eyes. It also wears off after about an hour if you drink beverages. When I first opened this product, I was impressed by the pink hue. I received Pink Bouquet and was eager to use it for my next girly look. I was sorely disappointed as when applying to my lips it was a huge difference compared to my first impression swatch on my hand. On my lips, the liner did not move smoothly across the surface of my lips. I did not have the liner out very much, as I am aware this causes breaks. Even with my cautious nature, my liner broke on my lip. After a lot of patience, gentle strokes and going over the colour – I finally managed to get the perfect tone. This requires more work than it should, it is not pigmented enough and is too hard to slide across your lips.
