This past week I’ve been testing out the Avon Mark Big & Extreme mascara. I have tried many, many mascaras over the years so the Avon Mark Big & Extreme mascara had a lot to compete with. I was especially curious when I noticed that it claims to have an innovative Elastovolumeric formula that increases the length of lashes by up to 54%. To me, the perfect mascara is one that doesn’t clump. It is also important to me that it doesn’t dry and flake off during the day. My eyes are also incredibly sensitive so anything that irritates them is a big no-no for me. I usually stay away from waterproof mascaras because they can be difficult to remove and I try to avoid rubbing my eyes. I love long, fluffy lashes. The longer and fluffier, the better and volume key. I’ve been using the Avon Mark Big & Extreme mascara over the past few days and I have to say that I have been extremely impressed. My lashes are not stiff or crispy after using it but rather still have a little flexibility which I really like. I haven’t had any negative reaction to the formula so my sensitive eyes have been crystal clear while using it which is a huge plus. My lashes are definitely long and voluminous with my usual two coats of mascara and I think they’re really soft and beautiful too, which is exactly what I had been looking for. For a waterproof mascara, I was easily able to remove it with my usual double cleanse routine: 1 with coconut oil to melt any makeup and then with a soap cleanser to wash it all off. All in all, I have to say I was completely impressed with the mascara. In all honesty, it exceeded every expectation I had.
