There are a range of different flavours to choose from which I think is great, but my favourites are Minty Moments and Strawberry & Propolis. I only paid R 16.50 for mine and I thought this was a very fair price for the quality of product I received. It's extremely moisturising and has a great taste and texture and makes my lips look shiny and plump, as though wearing a lip gloss. The fact that this product is 100% natural is another huge plus in my books as I personally believe that this is the way all products should be going in this day and age. On of my biggest concerns when buying cosmetics is animal testing. Bee Wise does NO animal testing on any of their products what so ever and for this reason alone I will support such a brand. I am a huge animal lover and activist and refuse to support brands that test their products on animals, regardless of the reasons. Unfortunately, despite the good ingredients I was underwhelmed. Firstly its R20 so I expect a lipbalm to be decent for the price because other ones are a lot cheaper out there. The packaging is really cheap. It really looks homemade and very basic. I could live with that if the product was great but... The texture of the balm is very hard - it really feels waxy. It is moisturising though but not the most penetrating. It offers more of a layer of protection rather that moisture. The main thing I disliked was the smell - it is not offensive but just smells a bit oldish and definitely not like naartjes. I do understand that its is hard to keep a product in top notch condition without preservatives but they should at least put an expiry date on so that people can tell whether the product is fresh...I just didn't feel that mine was I can't say the whole brand is rubbish but if you want to buy this natural product - first make sure that the one you are buying is definitely fresh.
