I have heard so many great things about Benefit and finally caved into my curiosity and bought myself a lipstick and eye shadow. I decided to go for the silky finish lipstick in Sugar Cookie. I chose it because it has a sheer, subtle colour. The lipstick glides on effortlessly and feels silky on your lips. The application is even, the pigment rich and has a wonderful shimmer. The colour intensity can easily be built up to get a more noticeable pigment on your lips. The packaging is fantastic. It comes in a beautiful box with a window that has a cardboard insert. The different lipsticks have different inserts that have a picture of a various female figurines. The inserts have different quotes which I think is a cute touch. The quote I got was "Never apply lipstick while driving on a gravel road". The lipstick tube is amazing! It is heavy in weight because it is made of metal. Even the way the lid opens and closes is amazing - just pure luxury and quality. At R210 the lipstick is more than double the price I normally pay for a lip stick, but I think this product is worth it.
