Although it seems like the ideal makeup product to have and, not to mention, a total money saver, I found that this product was only effective as pot rouge for my cheeks. It gave my cheeks a beautiful natural pink blush. I found the product to be a bit thick and oily feeling though, which is not what you want for oily skin like mine. I prefer feathery light formulas. This pot rouge was slightly heavy for my liking. When the pot rouge was applied to my lips, it looked very tacky and fake. I don’t know if it was because of my skin tone, or if it was the consistency of the actual product, but I removed it as soon as it was applied. It does, however, make a good lip tint when it is applied minimally and mixed with a clear lip gloss or lip balm. I would recommend Bobbi Brown’s Pretty Powerful Pink pot rouge to youthful and playful girls, not only because it is a convenient 2-in-1 makeup product, or because of its funky packaging, but because of its feminine, stand-out pink colour. ]]> Tue, 12 Mar 2013 08:57:32 +0000
