The texture of this oil is thick, therefore I usually apply 3 drops to my skin, so I don't have excess oil sitting on my face that does not absorb. One beauty hack that worked with this product was that it allowed my foundation and BB cream to settle on my face with a lighter and smoother texture. It gave a glowy finish to the makeup look. I would normally use coconut oil and argon oil on my skin for nourishment and to help my acne scars to fade, but I found that this Justine Oil is more effective than those products. I think I skipped maybe one or two days and that was when we had to rush my daughter to the hospital. In those two days, you could actually see a very big difference in my skin. I found the oil to be so incredibly nourishing, that instead of moisturiser, I'd solely use the oil after my face wash and toner. My skin remained smooth, supple and firm throughout use and although I have very sensitive skin and prone to break outs, there was no irritation after use. I decided to stick to using it on my face after about a week and a half of use, to focus on one area and go from there. I won't lie though, I'd sometimes put a few drops in the bath for overall smooth skin. I scratched my nose about 4 days ago. It was quite a big gauge and left me feeling horribly self-conscious. As soon as I treated it I slapped on some tissue oil. I'd put it on a couple of times a day as I took it to work. (The bottle is small and compact enough to do so. ) The wound healed quicker than it usually would and the mark is slowly going away. It was so moisturised that concealer did not even give it that dry crusty look as it healed. Overall, I have noticed changes to my complexion. It is less dull and marks are lightening subtly for almost 3 weeks of use, but I will continue to monitor the changes and use this product on a regular basis. My breasts, bum, thighs and surprisingly my  upper back was uncomfortably dry, itchy and sometimes cracky! My mom was the first to tell me about the Justine Tissue Oil, she had an accident with a wax strip on her upper lip which left very bad scarring. I remember when my mom was using it it came in a long bottle with three silver strips at the bottom. Not only has the packaging changed but Justine has improved the formula with a new added revolutionary ingredient, micro algae which has anti-ageing properties and antioxidants which helps: • Soften and elasticise skin • Improve skin's texture • Reduce lines and wrinkles The new and improved formula helps reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks within 14 days whereas the previous formula the one that my mom used reduced the appearance of scars and stretchmarks after 28 days. It also reduces redness caused by sun exposure in 2 days and hydrates the skin for up to 24 hours after a single application. The oil itself is quite orange compared to tissue oil that I usually use which is yellow in colour. The Justine tissue oil has a pleasant sweet almond scent unlike some tissue oils which can sometimes have a very unpleasant scent. The oil is thick in texture not a runny consistency like most tissue oils. Only a small amount is needed (2 drops) as it spreads quite easily. A 100ml bottle lasts for quite a long time as not much oil is needed as a little goes a long way. I found that the oil is hydrating and absorbs quickly and does not leave my skin feeling unpleasantly oily but hydrated and soft. I apply the tissue oil to my appendix scar and stretch marks every night before going to sleep. When I wake up my skin still feels smooth and hydrated in the areas that the tissue oil was applied the night before. HAIR: 2-3 drops rubbed onto the ends of hair, I find this works best after hair is styled to tame fly a ways and stray hairs, I love the shine it gives my hair , just be cautious on bleached white/silver hair as it may cause a discoloration and we all know faded white is not hot EVER! LIPS: Lips, this may not be everyone cup of tea but my best thing ever is to apply my normal holy grail lip products (view my blog for more info) and apply the tiniest amount to the center of my lip , the key is to just dab it in , and please for heavens sake don't lick your lips , the taste of the scents and fragrance of the products does not really work in your favor. I did run into some problems though which limited me from using it everyday. So about 3 days or so before I began using the tissue oil, my face had a rash break out but it looked like it was getting better after I began using the issue oil (keep in mind I stopped using make up for a while to avoid agreviating the rash). When I thought I was in the clear(thanks to the tissue oil) I began using make up again but that was a terrible mistake because the rash then turned into a skin infection so I had to stop using all products for about 2 days until I got antibiotics and other prescribed products. To cut the story short, all I used while on the antibiotics was a lotion that the Dr prescribed during the day and at night the tissue oil, in just 4 days I've noticed that my skin is definitely kept hydrated for longer and the dark marks and scars in had before the break out is getting lighter. I had to use the tissue oil one and off, but it's amazing how effective this product is and how fast it works. I mentioned during my first review that my skin really takes a beating during winter months. The coldness really leaves my skin feeling dehydrated. After having used Justine tissue oil on my face and hands, my skin is breathing and feels alive again. I have been searching for a product that would be my hero and rescue my skin during winter, and I am happy to say that I think I've found the one. It is grease-free and absorbs so well into my skin. I am still getting used to this and I do suspect that I use a little more than I need to. I sense I will be re-stocking on the tissue oil very soon. I've been using Justine's tissue oil for a week now and my skin feels smooth and firm. I've now placed a bit of the product into my body lotion to add extra moisture to the rest of my body. When I apply Justine's tissue oil on my face, I do try and apply a little bit on my lips. This is a great trick that keeps my lips smooth and moisturized. Another important tip is to massage the tissue oil into the skin, don't simply apply it. By massaging it you increase blood circulation to that area and also you enhance the absorption of the tissue oil into the skin. I would recommend using the tissue oil straight after you shower or bath. I love how the Justine tissue oil is rich in texture and has a beautiful golden colour. I have deemed it my 'liquid gold'as truly it is something precious. I am loving how after its application, there is no oily residue left on my skin and my skin feels well-moisturized. This may sound a bit dramatic, but it really feels like I have a new pair of skin. Wow! This has been an amazing week of up, up and ups with the Justine Tissue Oil! Although previously acquainted with the product, this week has truly blown me outa the water. All my body is saying is, “May I have some more please?" Thus far I’ve seen a lightening of stretch marks on my bum, where I have the most intense stretch mark issues. I’ve noticed the changes within about two days, and it got me really excited for the rest of the experience. I was a bit apprehensive considering I’ve used Justine in my teens, but never this consistently. With daily application my skin feels lathered up, yet never clogged and oily. My skin has never felt more put together with my joints showing considerable firmness. I have dark pigmentation just above my pubic bone from chaffing of my belt, and this has noticeably lightened and become smoother. Which is definitely getting me summer body confident. I have been using this oil only at night in place of a moisturizer. The second process I have been doing is applying the oil to the top half of my legs (stretch mark prone areas) with a massaging motion once a day. My 3rd and final way of using the product is applying 5-10 drops of oil in my bath to help with my over all skin feeling. All three methods have all played a part in my new found love for This product. Does my skin feel firmer? I think that the positioning of where I have applied around my stomach area makes this difficult to notice but I feel that my skin is not as tight and more elastic. I'm not quite sure if it was due to the fact that I applied too much of oil or if it was cleaning my skin from the inside. Whenever I apply any oil onto my skin, I always make sure that it's massaged in a circular rotation, as this stimulates the blood flow in that particular area, and thus the product will be absorbed. I have used tissue oils in the past but without any success to combat my dry skin. This is my first time using the Justine Tissue Oil product, and I must say I am quite excited. The packaging is very elegant yet effective. It is big enough to hold in your hand without it feeling too bulky, but also small enough to take as your travel buddy for applications throughout your day. I was rather impressed with the ease with which I could dispense the product. The bottle is made of a light-weight plastic material that easily flexes under the pressure of your hand. I've never been a fan of the feeling of tissue oil against my skin. I always felt it was too sticky on my skin and the stickiness remained even minutes after I had applied it. Also, the smell of tissue oil can be quite pungent and off-putting. The Justine Tissue Oil, however, leaves my skin feeling smooth and supple, even after just 2 applications, whilst offering a gentle scent of tissue oil which I can recognize but is definitely more tolerable. I've been struggling wiith dry skin on my forehead, it literally looked like dandruff when touching it, and I've been at my wits end about what to use. I applied the oil and could see an immediate improvement. A few hours later there was no sign of dry skin and I think I'll apply it before or after my moisturiser from now onwards. The packaging is plain yet chic, all that one would expect with the Justine brand. The bottle I find to be simple yet gorgeous. I often struggle when using a product with the lid and the bottle, but with the open bottle it's perfect in terms of product release and closing once done with the product. I applied the tissue oil to my neck for the first time, as I have a very dry neck, and th eproduct absorbed quickly and left minimal residue with I absolutely love. The scent is gentle and refreshing, which made me want to reapply, but just a couple of drops were enough for my entire neck. Next I'm going to be applying it to my bum and thighs where I have the most issues in terms of scarring and colouration. So let's see how this goes. I would like to say that I was very impressed with the look and feel of the packaging, it is very sleek and feminine and I would be proud to show it off to family and friends. It has a very sweet fragrance that is not overpowering and that makes it suitable for everyday use. To be honest I was a bit worried that once I apply it to my skin I would end up looking shiny and greasy more like a fat cake but to my surprise the oil absorbed very well and fast too. I was quite impressed even when I touch my face I didn't see much oil on my fingers. The product is also very light. After 24hrs of use my skin felt much softer and moisturized. I suffer a lot with acne break outs and scarring on my face because I pick my skin and I have quite a few stretch marks. The packaging is plain and simple, but the bottle itself is what I love most about the packaging. I would have loved to see more silver and less orange on the box. After applying the oil to my face the first time, it absorbed quite fast. My skin is very dry and I expected that to happen. It didn't stay dry though, it actually gave my skin moisture after just the first application. My lips were dry (winter lips) and after the first application my lips are softer and moisturized too. This product smells so fresh and doesn't have that granny oil smell. It has a clean relaxing herbal fragrance. So excited to see how this journey goes. I have never used the brand Justine before, so I simply can not wait to see the difference it makes to my skin in the next month. As a teenager, I suffer with ance that definitely leaves horrible scars and stretch marks always finds its way to appear on my skin. For a person who has dry skin, this product is a MUST! It's smooth and nourishes the skin which is perfect for this winter. What I love most about this product is that it contains natural oils and many vitamins which assist in rejuvenating damaged skin, especially scars and stretch marks. Whenever I'm looking for skincare products, I always look for products that are natural, as they are much safer and healthier to use. The packaging of the product is simple and yet so elegant. It comes in a white and orange box that contains a bottle of 100ml of tissue oil. As soon as I applied this oil to my bare skin, I fell in love with the smell of this product- it is a mixture of sweet almonds and coconut. Before applying any product, I always steam my face. The steam opens up my pores and I feel like the product will be more effective. After steaming my face for 10 minutes, I massage this oil onto my face. During the process of massaging my cheeks, I felt that the product absorbed into my skin easily as it was light textured and did not leave my face greasy like how other products do. It moisturizers the skin up to 24 hours after applying it on the first go, so my skin feels rejuvenated and fresh. I am really pleased with this product so far and I can not wait to see the difference during the next 4 weeks. So there is your proof of how beauty products can bring about all types of emotions and memories. Now that the reminiscing is done let’s get down to business… My first impression of this product has been amazing … the packaging and presentation from Justine was something fit for a delivery to a queen and it made me feel so fancy , it’s all about presentation and they do get that right! My first use of this product was all over my skin and hands just before bed last night and I could not believe how my skin just drank the product in , and to make things even better I woke up with silky soft skin , with absolutely no residue or oils left on the surface of my skin. This for me in the ultimate indication of a product really penetrating my skin and getting to work effectively. Can I also just mention how great the texture it ! I love that fact that it’s not runny and watery like other tissue oils available on the market, it feels dense and i like that, almost a hybrid between a serum and an oil. I feel the main reason for this in justine’s concepts of a very concentrated products. I can’t wait to continue using it on my face and seeing the results and effects it has on my face and body. I am almost certain its going to help all problem areas for me, not just my dryness and fine lines but also my freckles. I add a small quantity when using cream after bathing. It works like a charm. Takes longer to see a difference but it helps in the wrong run. Having struggled with my weight and losing and gaining weight left me with stretch marks on my breasts that have amazingly reduced after using this product over the last year. It has come part of my morning and night regime. It has a nice, sleek look to it. The fragrance of the tissue oil pleasantly surprised me, It has subtle, pleasant fragrance and was not over powering. I applied the tissue oil to my stretch marks, and what liked about the tissue oil the most thus far is that it wasn't in fact oily. The tissue oil absorbed quickly into my skin and after 24 hours left my skin feeling softer. I recently lost about 5 kgs as well now I've got stretch marks around my waist and outer tighs. In 2011 I got burned by hot water on my left leg that left me with a dark scar that looks like a birthmark So I'll be using Justine tissue oil to target these problems. First impressions I really loved the presentation, the package was neatly wrapped in a gift box with a ribbon. The bottle is 100mls and has a nice shape that makes it easy to handle. The oil has a very subtle fragrance and the Consistency is great as well not too greasy or sticky. I applied the oil on my face(even though I don't like using oil based products on my acne prone skin, but hey who knows? It might work) and the rest of my body after taking a shower and the oil was quickly absorbed into my skin I could feel a difference minutes after my first application.
