I dont have a great history with self-tan, i always either end up orange or stripey. And I usually apply it before a first date or something. Lovely. However-i was pleasantly surprised by this stuff. I exfoliated, and then eventually got the pump to work, and applied it to my legs. I made sure i had rubbed it in so well, i was not going to risk tiger legs again.
