When I only use this liner without any eyeshadow, it smears just a little bit by the end of the day. It isn't enough to destroy the liner, so it passes. When I use eyeshadow, the liner does not budge, so I was very impressed. My one problem/concern is that the formula can get a little sticky. I noticed this when I first starting using it as my eyelids would feel a little sticky when I blinked, but then this stopped happening. It's possible that I just got used to the formula or that something is up when you first break open a new pen. But it wasn't too bothersome. I tested this on my wrist & took a shower the following day. It barely budged. Applicator: The thin line end is a really long applicator! I accidentally made a perfect wing when I first used this. I think it was a combination of the length of the applicator & the pen itself since it's double-sided. I was impressed. Since then, I have been able to purposely do a nice mini wing with the thin end. The thick end is ok...it skips & drags across my lid, so I would only use it for the end of my wing or something. Not the end of the world given the price. I felt like I had a lot of control regardless of which end I was using. And the product does not feel like I am using a marker on my face like similar drug store products do (for example, Almay Pen Eyeliner 210 Navy ). I think the applicator felt tip might be a little rough on my eyelids as I notice a little soreness on my lids from where I normally line. Value: I think is product is definitely worth the price. I like the retractable packaging and the shade range. After a while, the product does dry out a bit and you have to warm it up on the back of your hand before applying to the eye. Even oil-based eye makeup removers struggle to clean up the very last of the glitter, which I guess is both a plus (for when you want the liner to last a long time) and a minus (for when you want to remove all your makeup to go to sleep). Its a very creamy formula so I would recommend that you use a really good angled brush to apply the product and also make sure to wash your brush afterwards. I found that when I didn't keep my brush clean, it made it very difficult to apply the liner neatly the next time I used it. It lasts all day but does bleed a little bit when its a hot day. I normally purchase this product in black but recently I've tried a new colour in green, It's absolutely stunning and I'ts really flattering on hazel eyes . I bought a brand new pen (took one from the very back of the stock), took it home, applied it to my lash line, and had to go over the same line about three times to get the colour and definition I wanted. I only used it four times and it started drying out (cap was on tightly). I bought another thinking maybe I had previously bought a dud or one that had been opened before purchase, and the same thing happened. And I've tried about 9 different once. The pen itself is super fine and application is a breeze and easy for about only the first 3 times after that it fades. What I almost always end up doing is then taking that pen and dipping it into a liquid eyeliner bottle and then doing my liner since the applicator works like a charm. I think this is definitely one product where the product inside have let down the package or applicator outside. This product made it really easy for me. The felt tip makes it so much easier to get it exactly where you want it without messing it up and having to give it several attempts. You basically just draw it where you need it like you would use a marker. The staying power is good and pigmentation is great. A few draw backs on the product: It started drying out too soon for my liking. It never really went completely dry but that super wet and intense feel when new faded too quickly and it became harder to work with. The pigmentation also started to fade so I had to do a few coats to get the same impact as when new but it removes the coat beneath when you try and layer it. I would recommend this product to someone who is just starting to make use of liquid eyeliners and rocking cat eyes. It makes it so much easier but use it up in a month or maybe 2. Don't keep it for longer. I have hooded eyes so using a brush and a gel pot created way too thick of a line. I also wanted a product with which I could tightline just above my lashes.'
