For the first week I did not see any results however in weeks two and three my scalp felt moisturized and my hair looked healthier. THE PACKAGING - Both the Shampoo and Liquid came in a very easy to open and store bottle. THE SHAMPOO- was easy to apply and had a cooling effect when I massaged it into scalp my for 2 minutes, it was almost as if I could feel the CAFFEINE soothing and moisturizing my scalp. This I did every second day in the bath or shower. THE LIQUID- I used on the days I did not use the shampoo, this was a great alternative to encourage healthy looking hair and moisturizing my scalp. I would apply it using the nozzle on the bottle, gentle towel dry my hair and last massage it into my scalp. THE RESULTS - As mentioned I started seeing results after two / three weeks which was pretty impressive for a short amount of time. My scalp would look dry and flaky after 24hrs of washing with other shampoos but since using Alpecin I have seen a vast improvement. Why I love it? Because it helps clear my pimples faster than when I don't use it, slightly lightens up some scars and makes my skin so soft. Especially around my nose, it helps with those annoying blackheads. I think the silicone brush head helps with that and i love it, it so soft and massages my face wonderfully! Why I hate it? Because it dries my skin out to the point that I'm left with dry, flaky patches! And they are so annoying! Makeup can't even hide them and they take over a week to get rid of. I think I might have found a way to balance it out. I don't use it every day. Thrice a week works well for me. It had an almost coconut and sweet scent. The scent although was tropical and sweet was not over whelming or sickly. The sun ready hair mist was so well packaged as it suited the product to a tee. The aqua blue spray bottle with its brown and gold writing was simply exotic and tropical. It made you feel you were at the beach side sipping coconut cocktails and enjoying a well-deserved break. The mist came in a 100ml which lasted ages as I only used it when I needed some extra oomph to my appearance and when I really wanted to make an impact at an event or social gathering. It turned out to be such a hit especially amongst the older folk, who would've guessed. Cleaning out my cupboard over the weekend allowed me the oppurtunity to find these "gems" all the way at the back(typical). Being the month of Hair at Beauty Bulletin I decided to try them out once more,in a fun 'striped poof' Both these products are easy to use and deliver on their mentioned colour. The Colour Xtreme in RED I found was much easier to use as the can is slim and narrow, allowing for great manipulation to reach every strand. The nozzle is also of a better quality and is easier to press in all the weird angles used to get the back of my head. The fumes arent very accomodating so I advise using it in a well ventilated room or even out-doors. The spray once applied looked very "blood-red" and seemed to have stained my scalp, something I'm quiet used to as I have extremely fine hair. Once completely dried though, the colour ligtened on my scalp and was more intense on my hair itself. The colour was intense, rich and vibrant- which is essential if being used on dark hair. The product didnt stain or flake off and looked perfect even the next day. When it was time to be washed off, It took my normal 2-shampoo lather to get my hair back to normal. Now onto Party Success, this can due to its jumbo shape was a tad difficult to hold whilst spraying the back of my head. It took some getting used to and some time on finding the right position to hold the can in order to achieve what I was looking for. Te nozzle is the same you'd find on a can of Q10, this did not impress me as if not held down tighly it would move in the wrong direction whilst spraying. The colour shown on the cap is also a tad deceiving as I was expecting a vibrant even green, this green dries into a slighly olive-musky green. This product does catch onto material but washes out like a breeze. The fumes on this 1 is also not as grand and should be applied in a good ventilated area. This product was easy to wash off just like the red spray. I highly reccomend both these products to anyone looking to try something different and fun, even if just temporarily.If in a rush or if youre requiring a more efficient product of the 2, I would suggest The Colour Xtreme Range. I picked mine up for R38 but I recently saw equivalents at Dischem for as little as R6 and Takealot sells them for R15 each. My boyfriend calls me the "Turbanator" and he thinks he is so funny. This turban is great for when you do your beauty regime morning and night. I also use to cover my hair when I'm in the shower as a shower cap when I can't find my shower cap. Its also great for when you applying makeup and you want to keep your hair out of the way. So when I was at Clicks a while ago looking for a new face wash I spotted this on the Garnier display. To be honest I don't use Garnier, as they never really caught my eye. But when I saw the little brush on the top of this bottle I immediately thought of my L'Oréal one and decided to give it a try. It's a bit more expensive then my usual face wash, but I liked the brush and the description on the back sounded effective. It claims to give your skin a deep clean, helping remove dead skin cells and working to help remove impurities from pores. Before using this product you have to peel off the back label and read the directions, which requires a few twists and tips of the bottle. The first time I used this wash I thought it was a bit awkward. The whole process of twisting, tipping, squeezing and using the bottle on your face is strange at first. But after using it a few times I got used to it and now it's fine. I use this wash daily and let me tell you it does a fantastic job of removing makeup. It really leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, without the tight dry feeling you sometimes get. I also noticed that you don't even need to use all that much product as it foams up nicely. It has a nice fresh scent. I love the little brush attached to the top of the bottle. It's a soft flexible brush that feels like it's doing an excellent job at exfoliating your face. My face isn't left feeling red and scratched. It really is a convenient little face wash that will also travel nicely as it's very compact. I'm really enjoying it.
