The therapist consulted me on my major skin concern, and being in my 40s, off course it was anti-aging. I chose the open that had a lavender scent to keep within the scene of relaxation. (PS at Life Day Spa you can also choose the colour theme of your treatment room). The treatment uses peptides, botanicals and selected targeted active ingredients in array of serums, masks and moisturizers to deliver end results that are sublime. She then used a very fine, but VERY LONG cannula to administer the treatment and inserted it in my cheekbone area (first above the cheekbone, then below the cheekbone) DEEP under the skin. It was dull, dry, showed signs of pigmentation and redness. So, when I was offered the opportunity to try out the Sorbet Grande Facial at the Camps Bay branch, I was so excited to try it out! I was greeted at the Sorbet Camps Bay by friendly Otelia, she would be my therapist and wow was she wonderful! Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about skincare and the Sorbet range, she was also wholly focused on my comfort for the entire 75 minutes. Otelia and I began by chatting about my skin concerns (dullness, dryness, redness...the list goes on) and we settled on using a combination of the Salon Skin and Hydro Skin Range. I appreciated the initiative she took to combine two ranges to address my concerns. She began by cleansing my skin with a Salon Skin 3-in-1 Cleansing Oil (R130) - to remove makeup, dirt, oil and impurities, followed by the Salon Skin 3-in-1 Foam Cleanser (R90) - to remove traces of oil from the oil cleanser. I loved the oil cleanser particularly - my skin felt extremely clean after using it and I will definitely be purchasing this product when my current cleanser runs out! Otelia had more in store for me - whilst using a humidifier to open my pores, she began exfoliating my skin with the Salon Skin Daily Skin Polish Powder (R220). The exfoliator is chemical in nature - it contains Salicylic Acid and Rice Powder - so is general but effective. The rice powder assists in brightening skin. After exfoliation, Otelia applied the Sorbet Salon Thermal Rescue Masque (R110)- the masque had a cooling effect and is developed with essential oils to help inhibit the formation of freckles and brighten skin. Post masque- Otelia looked at areas on my face that showed signs of pigmentation and applied the Sorbet Salon Skin Even Tone Corrector (R220) which is enriched with Whitonyl and Vitamin A, C and E to lighten and brighten. She then applied the Salon Skin Day Perfecting Cream (R200) to complete the treatment. Did I forget to mention the massage?! One of the best neck and shoulder massages I've ever had- Otelia had hands that worked magic! I cannot rate this facial any higher- the sheer luxury of it does not match the affordable price of R380 (I paid a little less because of the Winter 20% off Special - ends 31 July!). No "how are you", no acknowledgement of the London traffic nightmare.. nothing to make the experience more enjoyable. I questioned whether such approach of a salon with such prices is reasonable, the therapist told me to calm down and be quiet, so she can do the treatment! I felt it was hardly an approach of a reputable beauty salon what sells not only skincare but also positive experience/ relaxation to their clients. All downhill from there. .. I was given the daily skin polish powder (R220) this one is a cheaper version of the Dermalogica daily microfoliant I compared the ingredients and they are identical even the feel and scent is the same, this comes in a powder form so you mix it with water to form a paste but I prefer to mix it in with my cleanser. It’s not too abrasive or grainy but does the job like a gentle exfoliator as it is branded as a micro-exfolitor which instantly brightens the skin. The magic ingredients being salicylic acid, papin, rice powder, lavender, grapefruit, tea tree oil and vitamins A, C&E. When I arrived at the Chrysalis stall I was greeted by 2 very friendly ladies, whose names were Cindy Lee Paul and Sherise Husselmann, with a big smile. I filled in a form to basically determine my skin concerns and what I hoped to achieve after the facial. I must admit, at first I thought the facial was about the products but Sherise explained to me that it was the MACHINE that was the star attraction of the whole treatment. That only intrigued me even more and I couldn't wait to get started. I was soon called the very friendly and professional therapist, Londi Ndebele. She asked me to lay down on the bed. As soon as I was comfortable she removed my makeup and started with the treatment. The facial consisted of Vacuum Suction, divided into three parts, focusing on different areas of my face and neck, stimulating and toning my face, with different suction attachments for the different stages. It had a tingly sensation and wasn't painful at all. The therapist explained that it was plumping my skin as well as improving blood circulation. One of my main concerns was reducing acne scarring on my face. The therapist looked at it and told me that this could be achieved with a few more treatments and I would see visible results. The treatment took about 25 minutes. My skin felt glorious afterwards. I was handed a mirror afterwards and I was very impressed with what I saw - and felt. My skin was radiant and glowing and felt so smooth. It felt like my face had been to a spa. My overall experience with Chrysalis was absolutely wonderful. I was handed a business card for the salon in Hyde Park. I would definitely like to go in for additional treatments - but the price is a bit too high. Completely non invasive Antiaging therapy utilizing deep pressure and suction to stimulate and rejuvenate ones skin. Annelie explained the procedure and then proceeded to cleanse the skin prior to application of the device. The pressure used can be adjusted as well as the applicator size. Having had previous bad experiences with lasers, I was slightly anxious. Annelie talked me through what she was doing and confirmed pressure was comfortable. She was reassuring. The facial itself was deeply relaxing. The suction was not invasive and was meant to stimulate fibroblasts increasing collagen production ( and most effective when repeated at regular intervals ) . Attention was paid to my under eye shadows and frown lines with a smaller nozzle used around lip and mouth area. A gentle pulling tugging sensation is all that I felt. A short while later, I found myself looking at a more refreshed me. The shadows appeared lighter with the hollows seeming to have been partially filled. Overall the skin and me appeared fresher and rejuvenated. There was a new volume to my face as if having been plumped up, I would definitely recommend this if you're short on time and exhaustion showing on your face. I loved the smell of the products that were applied to my skin and the consultant explained that the use of the products together with the machine enhances effectiveness in not only smoothing out and refining wrinkles but improving skin appearance, texture and look as well. They applied some kind of serum on to my skin which is contains all natural ingredients and promotes skin elasticity, hence the smoothing out of wrinkles. Anyway, at this point, I must admit I am very sceptical to use just any kind of device on my skin and I have only ever used the Aannique dermalift but wow, this machine is sooo incredible. At first, I found a slight tingly, sensitive reaction which eventually calmed down. Maybe my skin was just caught off guard? True that it does work like some kind of skin vacuum that literally sucks up toxins and all nasty things that cause wrinkles and damage to skin. So, I lay there for a good couple of minutes, eyes closed and just let the machine do its thing, sucking up wrinkles, fine lines and imperfections. I also think that the treatment was super relaxing I had to stop from dozing off :-) Incredible! When the treatment was done I inspected my face and the fines lines really did appear improved and reduced. My skin also had a lovely and healthy glow, how nice? The facial was 'different' and very enjoyable as it was relatively a 'no mess' facial. The products smelt divine and the consultant had very experienced hands. It consistes of a 'sucking motion' almost like a mini vacuum cleaner all over your face. Divided into 3 sections. My face was very red afterwards but so smooth and definitely firmer - especially my neck I can still feel the results 2 days later. I have a business card and will try to make it to Hyde Park when they officially open. Their prices seem to tie in with facials I have had in the past. I was told that they will be selling the machine and training consultants as well. Hopefully in Jhb South in the near future. My only dissapointment was that I was told : "You have been chosen to enjoy two Chrysalis Global Facial treatments on Sunday 31st August at 1pm at the Gallaghar Convention Centre. Your pampering, anti-aging treatment will take approximately 45 minutes, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to settle in." - this was not the case. There was only one facial. and the facial lasted 15 minutes and that was it ! But I still enjoyed it, just travelling 50 km for 15 minutes was a little disappointing. We arrived very early at Sandton City Mall, I didnt know that the Elemis counter was at Edgars but managed to find it after some help. The counter was very small and I almost didnt see and the receptionist was busy when we arrived for the treatments. The treatment area is even smaller but the product display was very well set up and visible. When the receptionist Thuli arrived, she welcomed us very warmly and confirmed the booking. She asked me to choose the treatment I wanted. I chose the De-Stress shoulder massage for 15 min. We started off by me refreshing my hands with a warm cloth soaked in some lime oil. Its smelt great. She massaged my arms and shoulders very lighlty and I could feel the difference, even long after she finished, I could still feel the effects. She offered me another treatment , the instant temple and pressure point reviver. Here, she massaged some mint smelling oil into my temples to help me relax and de stress. I can still smell the oil but cannot quite remember the name of the product? I filmed two videos one of each treatment and will uplod this later. I enjoyed the treatments but, I dont think I will be going back again soon. What I found discouraging about the whole experience is the location and size of treatment area. Next was the microfoliant to exfoliate my skin once this was removed a hydrating mask was applied. I had a bit of a hormonal breakout on my chin and jawline so she applied the Rapid Spot Clearing which actually helped as it went away quicker than it would have normally. Finally she ended the treatment with a tinted moisturizer. I would definitely go again as its not expensive, its quick and effective. I was thrilled when Kerri called me on Friday afternoon to confirm my attendance. The morning started off with a heartfelt welcome from Dermalogica and Beauty Bulletin (Kerri you rock). We completed a client chart, were offered champagne (I opted for coffee) and snacks. A formal introduction and schedule for the day were relayed to the Lucky Beauties. The Dermalogica Concept Space on Wembley in Cape Town is an absolute beaut; so much light, it makes for a perfectly warm atmosphere. Were we divided into three groups and informed that we would rotate during the course of the morning. I was in the first group...and off we went for our Micro Zone Treatments. My skin therapist were very professional and friendly (I forgot her name) I felt totally safe in her capable hands. First of all she went through my chart with me, had a few questions for me on my health, skincare routine and stress levels, which I received a 9/10 for because I’m so good at taking care of my skin. She advised that we would start with my face mapping. Face mapping is a skin analysis where the different zone on your face are analysed to ascertain your skin type and skin problems you have in the specific zones. I was quiet surprise at the outcome of my analysis. My skin’s elasticity is great, which means my skin’s ageing is slow and no tell-tale lines are visible as yet! My skin is dehydrated and I have some pigmentation. My Therapist recommended a hydration Micro Zone treatment. She wanted to put some moisture back into my skin…and did she! Every application and/or product was explained to me in detail (which I appreciated). I was advised to take my sunblock right through to my ears, I was stunned by this useful information. The treatment lasted about 20 minutes but it felt like an hour. Mega relaxing. She pre-cleansed, cleansed, exfoliated, masked, moisturised and applied some eye cream and sunblock. My skin felt so clean and refreshed afterward. My skin was glowing again! Thereafter I was handed my customised skin health prescription and we chatted a bit on the products and what I would need now and what to incorporate in future. Off we went for our “Workshop” on healthy skin education with a cuppa of course. Our Hostess Marja was just a pleasure; I wish my teachers at school were like her. A very educational and informative chat on healthy skin. Just some of the things I have learnt on Saturday • Dermalogica believes in “removing, improving and treating” • Dermalogica don’t do facials they do skin treatments • Demalogica’s first step is to get your skin healthy and thereafter treat the skin condition. • There are a lot of harmful ingredients in various skincare brands (some of it I can’t even pronounce) • Dehydrated skin needs moisture and not oil. Our workshop was concluded with an informal Q and A’s and high spirits. We were invited to have some much welcomed sushi as a light snack. DEVINE!!! I need the number of those caterers. After snacking and talking more pics our group moved over to the Skin Bar, where we were thought how to treat our hands by the lovely Carla. She gave step by step instructions on what and how. The routine was fairly simple and anyone can do it at home; scrub, rinse, mask, rinse, moisturize. My hands were thoroughly treated and pampered by yours truly. How amazing is that. I must just mention that my fellow beauties made the day extra special. You guys are so cool, funny and I enjoyed your company! What a way to end off the morning! Upon arrival, and I should mention I was half an hour early, I was warmly welcomed and introduced to all the staff members whom I thought were such joys because they were friendly, and so welcoming!!! ;-) I actually felt at home... Once a few other Beauty Bulletin Reviewers arrived, we all got to know each other and we were served Champaign and some yummy snacks (which include, mini sarmi`s, muffins, fruit kebabs, and sushi to mention a few) were offered!!.. I opted for coffee while perusing the store with all its products and one thing that impressed me was the light, the store seemed to be filled with natural light which gave me this feeling of freshness, and that’s exactly what I felt like after my treatment had been done!! FRESH! ;-) We were informed that we would be divided into three groups and each group would go in and have their individual micro zone treatments done, followed by an informative session by Marna which ill explain about a little bit later, and lastly hand treatments would be done, and upon ending each reviewer would receive a goodie bag, and we each received two.. Such blessings!! Thank you Beauty Bulletin and Dermalogica, I really enjoyed this event and I’m definitely choosing to inform as many people as possible of these amazing products. Since I was in group one we went in first to have our Micro zone Treatments and I was so scared considering that I have a very sensitive skin which flares up to most products I’ll try and test out. I mentioned this to my Skin Therapist (Fatima) who was as helpful as she assured me that Dermalogica products are suitable for sensitive skin and thus we continued with the treatment. Heaven-that’s the only way to describe what happened next. Firstly, Fatima removed all my make up by applying oil to my skin –Dermalogica pre cleanse... such an amazing feeling... Thereafter she applied the Micro Foliant which is a powerdery substance when mixed with water becomes foam, and gently massaged this into my skin. Since my skin is so sensitive she decided not to steam it, since the warmth of the steamer would cause redness so she opted to use a gelish mask... and left it on while explaining to me that one should also moisturise your ears, as it forms part of the face and neck... *this was new to me!! Each time Fatima removed and dried my skin she used these gloves which were kept warm such a treat since she ensured that extra care was taken. Fatima explained that one should always exfoliate and then make use of a mask, these two go hand in hand, and should never be done one without the other... so take note ladies!! Fatima also gave me a tip and advised that I should be making use of clay masks since its cool, and it won’t have such a harsh effect on my skin as a granular mask, which might cause more irritation and redness when it comes into contact with my skin. Thank you Fatima I really learnt a few things from you..!! ;-) Next up, was our informative session which Marja conducted and did we have fun, with all kinds of laughs and Marna even going into some fit, due to an explanation of how bad the sun can be for our skins, so Lather up on your SPF EVERYDAY, yes EVERYDAY... even when the sun is not shining!! UV Rays comes thru snow, rain, bright lights etc. We learned that skin age thru intrinsic/chronological ageing, which is only responsible for 10-20% of ageing, while extrinsic/photo ageing, is responsible for 70% of ageing, due to factors such as pollution, smoking, sun damage. Frightening I know!! 0_0 Some foundations and skin products also contain an ingredient which is actually used in Q20 yikes, which is used to eat away rust!! I know hey, this is scary, check those labels ladies, lessons to be learnt and remembered. I don’t know if I’m spelling it correctly but it seems to be pronounced as (isopropmirozone)... Skin types are divided into combination, oily, dry and sensitive. Skin types can be maintained but can never be changed. Skin conditions are caused due to external (pollution, smoking) and internal (medical, stress) but it can be changed. Another scary fact was that most pigmentation damage seems to occur before the age of 18, and who really takes care of their skin before 18..?? So the sooner we start to take care of our skin the less damage we have to fix right... Dermalogica has a new fun fresh campaign going around, which very bluntly informs people that Dermalogica is not associated with skin aestheticians but rather skin therapists and that buying products from dermalogica is not about beauty, it’s about Investments which I feel hits the nail right on the head, after having had my treatment. People said I was glowing, I felt fresh, clean and my skin seemed to show this!! ;-) Lastly, we had our hand treatments which was so nice, each one went thru a range of Dermalogica products and we even had a treatment which when it interacted with water, went warm on our hands, this was nice, since one could feel how the treatment interacted with the water. The last result was soft smooth hands, and cuticles that were shining thanks to Dermalogica cuticle oil. Dermalogica`s take on ageing -no promises made, don’t only focus on wrinkles, treat existing damage and repair and promote healthy skin early. As with all good things, it came to an end and goodbyes were shared, along with some email addresses and phone numbers, so nice meeting Kerri (who was such a blessing and joy)...as well as fellow beauty bulletin reviewers!! The machine is the only device that combines controlled Ultrasound and radio frequency modules to effectively target localised fat deposits and signs of ageing. You truly get dramatic changes with fewer treatments than other machines on the market. I was welcomed to the Spa by Eunice Grobler who is highly trained in operating the machine and personally uses it on herself. She took me through the technology of the machines, carefully explaining the whole process to me before showing me a portfolio of clients. What immediately grabbed my attention was that the before and after photos averaged around 2 treatments. With other before and after photos I usually see “After 10 treatments” in fine print which is where I usually walk away from even going for a treatment. One cannot devote so much time and money to see only a slight change. I was truly lost for words while paging through the booklet – it seems almost too good to be true. I was then taken into a beautiful treatment room where I had to choose where I wanted to have the treatment done. When Eunice told me I am too young to really have the treatment on my face I was quite chuffed so decided to have the localised fact treatment on my stomach because it was something we could complete within the session. First off some Vaseline is applied to your skin to allow the node to move across the skin easily. The ultrasound kicked off the session. It felt like tiny vibrations across my skin and was actually quite relaxing – almost like a massage. Once that was complete the Unipolar radio frequency was applied to the area and Eunice warned me that my skin will start to heat up but that I would not get burnt. It felt like I had a soothing hot water bottle resting on my stomach and it was actually quite soothing – definitely something I would love to have done in the middle of winter to warm me up. The Bipolar radio frequency penetrates the skin up to 2cm and it was actually quite surprising how you can feel the difference between the two frequencies. Again, I felt no discomfort at all with the heating up of the area – which never went over 40 degrees. During the procedure I could visibly see the difference! I am not kidding. My Mom was in the room with me and witness the whole session. I didn’t suddenly have a six pack and completely flat stomach, but my pants buttoned up a lot easier and my skin looked and felt firmer. My stomach felt warm for about 3 hours after the treatment but it was not uncomfortable at all. The next day it felt like I had been to an ab class at the gym. My muscles weren’t sore but it felt as if I had done a lot of crunches. The treatment works on firming skin by stimulating collagen production and improves the elasticity of the skin. However when I received the email informing ladies of Beauty Bulletin's Dermalogica Event in Cape Town I just had to submit my name for consideration. I really love looking after my skin so this type of event was something I could not miss despite my hesitation to attend beauty events. The Beauty Bulletin Dermalogica event was held in the very beautiful Dermalogica on Wembly store in Cape Town. Walking into the store I was welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine by one of the friendly Dermalogica ladies. The store is so beautiful and just being there felt like a treat on its own. We we were split into 3 groups for the morning. With me being in group 2, I started off with an informative presentation on Dermalogica's skin philosophy where the difference between Skin Therapy and Skin beauty was covered. I learned so much about different skin types, skin conditions and what causes the most damage to our skin - ladies, wear sunblock even if you are behind a PC screen all day! I had no idea we get UV damage from PC screens and fluorescent lighting. One should apply sunblock throughout the day to ensure our skin in constantly protected, even when we are indoors. The talk was so interactive and so much fun, the time literally flew by which is rare in presentations - that's how great our presenter was. Thereafter my group moved to the skin bar in the front of the store, where we gave ourselves a facial on our hands. It was a practical education session on what products to use and a pure indulgence because very few people actually look after their hands well. Hands show signs of ageing just as much as our faces do, so it makes sense to follow a good skin care routine on them as you do with your face. My hands felt amazing and I had so much fun chatting to Nadia and Natasha while we were pampering ourselves. We had a slight break before our last session where we enjoyed good conversation and delicious food. I then made my way to the micro-zone treatment room for a 20 minute targeted area treatment with face mapping. The biggest problem with my skin is dehydration. Working in an air conditioned office and not always ensuring I drink at least 8 glasses of water, I know my entire body is deprived of moisture. I had such a fantastic treatment where my therapist, Fatima discussed each product used on me and also completed a "prescription" for me to help treat my dehydrated skin condition. I loved that I knew what products I need to help treat my skin because often one does walk into a store and you simply don't know what to get. I strongly suggest that you have a face mapping session to see what your true problems are. I heard so many ladies discussing how they thought they had oily or combination skin but in actual fact their skin was dry and producing excess oil to try to compensate for the dryness. A 20 minute micro zone treatment is only R280 which is so affordable as you get an entire facial routine within that time that specifically targets your problem areas. It is perfect for people who are in a hurry or need to watch their budget. I can personally appreciate that it is budget friendly as I cannot justify a R600 facial twice a month, even once a month is pushing it for me. The Beauty Bulletin and Dermalogica ladies made sure we were all well looked after throughout the entire event. For me the best part of this event was that the fellow Beauty Bulletin website members were so down to earth and made the whole event so much more enjoyable. I have been to other beauty events where I felt so out of place and plain uncomfortable because I am not in the industry and don't make a living off it. It was so refreshing to attend an event where I felt comfortable and actually thoroughly enjoyed being there. My scores prove to be encouraging and scrolling five years into the future to see myself at 40 is an eye-opener! Overall, a very positive and interesting experience. I cannot judge the reliability of such a system but I can assure you that I know a little bit more about my skin and a few changes I need to make to my daily skincare regime. I was rather reluctant to go and somewhat nervous because one really does not know what to expect. The Fish are at most only 4cm to 5cm in length and I found then to be terribly cute. As you place your feet in the luke warm water the fish immediately start nibbling away at the skin on your exposed skin - feet and legs. The sensation is somewhat ticklish and almost feels like tiny vibrations. I discovered that you do not feel the nibbling at all. The sensations felt are those created by their fins and bodies against your skin. We were lucky in that our treatment was around 20 minutes long instead of the usual 15mins. It was relaxing and a completely new experience for me. As far as the effectiveness is concerned, I found that certain problem areas such at the heels and balls of my feet were somewhat smoother but not as much as what you'd get from an exfoliation done by a person. But then again, that is because the fishes don't uniformly sweep the entire area, they nibble where they please. If you battle with eczema or have sores that need to be cleaned out - I definitely think this is a great treatment for getting rid of infections and dead, sore skin - I don't think you can get any more natural than being doctored by fishes. Step 2 The Med Dermabrasive Gel For my skin type Nicole used the Med Dermabrasive Gel. 4 which is basically a peeling product specially created for problematic skin. The gel – applied to the face and neglected areas around the eyes – contains fruit acids and enzymes that gently dissolves the layers of dead skin cells. Part of the QMS skin-care system is NOT TO DESTROY THE BARRIER TO THE SKIN! Which I must confess I have been doing with my usual frantic beaded facial massacre! The gel is left on for 10 minutes followed by… Step 3 The Gentle Exfoliant Cream, an in-salon only product. This cream removes additional impurities and provides extra refinement to the exfoliating process. The cream stays on for about 5 minutes. These important steps aim at preparing the skin for the collagen. Why collagen? Collagen is a vital protein of the human body. Its volume represents more than half of the proteins in the skin, and constitutes 6% of our body weight. Collagen is responsible for 60% of the moisturising process which is essential to keeping the skin’s tone, youth and elasticity. Normal collagen molecules are too large to be absorbed into the skin. Dr Schulte – the mind behind the QMS Medicosmetics – researched wound healing and found a way to combine fruit acids with natural collagens which work together in a unique way to reduce scars & promote skin regeneration. Step 4 The Algen Mask A purple alginate mask is then applied over my entire face to complete the exfoliation process. The refreshing paste sets as a rubberized mask that is lifted off and analysed. An imprint of my skin revealed a whole new story… The damage done by harsh treatments, dehydrated & congested areas right along the jaw line. Step 5 A Freshening Tonic is then applied to balance out the pH of the skin which needs to be between 4.7 & 5.5 – so this is a very important step. The skin is now ready to soak in the collagen. Step 6 The Med Day Protection (with natural soluble collagens) is applied to improve blood circulation and provide nourishment to the skin. Step 7 A plaster mask is then applied on a generously moisturised skin. After 15 minutes or so, Nicole asked me to smile (to loosen the mask) and lifted off the plaster of Paris mould. Interesting to see how much of the moisturiser had been absorbed and which areas needed attention. Step 8 The final Preparation The 24H Cream is then applied on a cleansed skin followed by The Sport Active Cream – a tinted moisturiser SPF15 & the collagen enriched Neck & More on the neck & chest area. I tend to have dry skin in winter and I bought this product as an overnight treatment for the upcoming dry winter months. I found that this product really hydrated my skin and solved my dry patches problem. This product comes in a pack of 15 capsules. You only use 4-6 drops of the product from the capsule, so one capsule should last you a good 2 months if you using it as a 3 times a week treatment like I am. The product is packaged in a capsule form because apparently it is the only way to ensure that the Vitamin E oil doesn’t lose its useful properties. It is very easy to use. All you do is prick the top end of the capsule with a clean pin. Squeeze 4-6 drops of the product on your hands and apply it on your face. The capsule closes quickly after you’ve pricked it so make sure you squeeze the product out immediately. I usually apply this 2-3 times a week after toner, and on the days I apply this I skip moisturiser. I would recommend to applying this product before bed as it does give your skin a slightly dewy look. When you wake up in the morning though, your skin is completely hydrated. I see a noticeable difference when I apply foundation in the morning and I find no dry patches at all. Such a relief! And I’ve also noticed that the pigmentation on my face has lightened. My mom commented that my “freckles” are lighter. The only thing I don’t like about the product is that when you get close to the end of your capsule, it gets a bit hard squeezing the product out. I have to prick the capsule multiple times to get product out. And the smell of the product is very wheat-germy, which doesn’t smell very pleasant on my nose.
