By day 14, the spots were barely noticable. It improved my overall complexion so that I have that natural glow. It also left my skin soft and my pores seem to be less visible. The packaging itself was suffice: very sturdy, perfect for traveling, safe from breakage if it falls on the floor. However, I hated digging my fingers into the tub to get the product out! I found it unhygienic and I prefer creams that come a tube for that reason. We used the Eucerin- Even Brighter Day cream and Night cream. We both have light pigmentation and just wanted to even out our skin tones and we thought that this is the product for us! I have normal to dry skin, but my skin is also really sensitive. My mum has oily skin. I found the range very moisturizing! Although, I did find that when I applied the creams on my face, I found them very heavy and my pores got clogged and I broke out- quite a few times. It was great for use in winter though. My mum hated it because it made her skin even more oily! When applying makeup, my foundation would not stay put even though I had put a setting spray on. The cream was just too rich. After four months of RELIGIOUS usage, this product has done nothing for me. My complexion is still the same as well as my light pigmentation. The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell - it has a lovely sandalwood scent. It lathers really well and does not stain at all (turmeric usually stains). I did not notice much of a difference when used alone, so I paired it with Vicco turmeric cream. This combination seems to be working as I have noticed a reduction in dark spots and pigmentation. It is still too early to see whether it will make a drastic difference (I've only used these products for about two weeks now). The sales lady explianed the product to me in very much detail; but, in a nutshell it works almost like a serum to target areas or dark spots and pigmentation as a results of acne and scarring. I was very eager to try and she gave me some on the back of my hand to test with. I didnt notice a very distinct smell, actually it was very mild and the contents were creamy but very light and surprisingly absorbed very quickly on to my skin. I rubbed it into my palms and lightly just patted, not rubbed it into my skin. i was expecting something amazing to happen but, It just felt like another moisturiser. At first I did'nt think much of it as there were loads of great goodies in that bag, so it sat in my beauty products shelving column thingy ( big thing in my bathroom that has 4 bowls that neatly sit on top of each other in a racking system - I keep all the things I haven't tried or are new and haven't opened ie. gifts, samples,back-ups for the products I love just in case I run out ) for a few weeks until I stumbled upon it whilst searching for some cream. The morning I found it I was in a state: I had woken up late ( again .....but then again it's not really late when I choose to arrive at work an hour early ), I shaved my legs but couldn't find my usual cream and was digging in my shelving thingy to find an alternative ( which I did ) and found this product. As I looked like a mess, hardly any sleep ( I will find a way to kill the ppl down stairs ! ), I decided to try it. Read the instructions ( lightly apply, do not rub, then apply foundation and make-up as usual ) and proceded to finish applying make-up. Didn't look to closely at mirror - too scared plus no coffee in system and it would be too much to handle so early ( I am not a morning person ! ) and hurried downstairs to grab my things before heading out the front door. My Fiance, who was dropping me off at work, commented in the car that I looked quite refreshed even though we had very little sleep ( and no, unfortunately not for the reasons you are thinking - tsk: dirty mind you have ! ). At first I though he was being sarcastic and at this point I might of sworn at him or called him a name ( I am not joking about the morning thing.....I need coffee to become human again ). I arrived at work, had my strong jug of coffee, settled in and started feeling human. I was telling someone at work how tired I was and discussing ways to kill the neighbours ( kinda kidding ) and they told me I didn't look tired. When I checked in my compact my eyes looked fine, even though they didn't feel it. It is meant to create a smooth brightening canvas for your makeup. It definitely adds a bit of glow to your skin and makes you look well rested. No complaints there! Unfortunately, with the state my skin is in at the moment, I can't forgo foundation which means I can't wear this on its own. However, when I do use foundation on top, this broduct balls up and starts rolling off as you are applying the foundation. Now that is a big no-no for me no matter how well rested I would look. It is just frustrating! After the 4 weeks I noticed a huge improvement in some post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that I had. I even tried it on a scar on my leg and it lightened it.
