It's not dirt cheap, but it's reasonably priced, and does contain small amounts of hyaluronic acid (good for hydration). I'm a varsity student so I'm constantly walking on roads to get to campus and on campus. Sun damage is a real thing ladies :( We can prevent sun damage and slow down the aging process just by using sun screen. Not to mention, we live in a very hot country! The biggest misconception is when it's cloudy, we do not need to apply sunblock. YOU DO! First use: I have acne-prone skin and its super sensitive. When I first used this product, I fell in love with the mattifyng effect. I get very oily on my T-zone during the day and this just seemed to solve the problem. I use this on top of my daily moisturizer. This product also makes a great base for makeup because it is so mattifying. Even though it is mattifying, it is not drying. The instructions recommend that you reapply a layer after exercising because sweat obviously takes the product off. I just had to rub the product in quite well to make sure it was applied properly and it had settled into my skin. An important thing to remember is to shake the product well before usage. I've been using this product for about three months now, and I have not found a better sun screen! My mum told me my complexion is looking great, so thats a definite plus! As for protecting my skin from the sun, I have no gone a shade darker even though I walk in the hot sun almost everyday thanks to this bad boy! It has not caused that "oily" effect like most sunscreens do and it hasn't clogged and of my pores and my skin just looks visibly brighter and clearer! It is also the only product that I prefer to leave a film on my skin and it does. It is pretty water resistant and therefore great for the kidz. It is also very convenient and easy to use as it is a spray. I can never get the kiddos to stand still for me to work the lotion onto their skin, but this one makes my life a whole lot easier. The only thing is that you cannot spray it directly onto the face as it will get way too close to the eye area and it does burn. I also find that it does create a burning sensation on the delicate skin of the face as well. Another thing is that it is quite pricey and the bottle doesn't last very long, so on top of having to buy a different product to apply to the face, you would also need to replace this one frequently. I also wear it under my foundation daily and it doesn't interfere with my makeup application at all (hallelujah!). Yes there is a time (spending a lot of time on water) and a place (the face) for the thick white lotion that offers maximum protection but for everyday outdoor activity I believe one does not have to look like a ghost. Recently I have been using Nivea Sun Protect and Refresh Invisible Cooling Mist SPF 30. First thing you notice when you spray it on is the lovely cool sensation especially on the back and neck region which finds it down right freezing, but in a good way. The mist is easy to apply and quickly absorbed by the skin leaving you with only a delightful fragrance as a reminder. No greasiness. As the nozzle works from all angles it’s pretty easy to apply to legs, backs and all the hard to reach places. Kids, who generally hate the sunscreen drill do not mind Nivea Cooling Mist because of its fun application. I have pretty fair skin and I can honestly say that I have not had a hint of a burn whilst using Nivea Sun Cooling Mist. The bubble gum and musk were my absolute addiction always had one on hand reapplying a few times a day. Lip Ice has probaby been around since the dark ages as I don’t even know when they first started since they’ve literally been around all my life. Since that time they’ll obviously evolved with a few tweaks to the packaging and many new additions to the range but they are definitely here to stay. My fave out of the lot has to be the Lip Ice Cherry provides you with the hydrating properties of Shea butter, the natural antioxidant benefits of Vitamin E and the soothing elements of silicone and SPF 15 to naturally protect your lips for a softer, suppler and hydrated feel. Combined with a delicious cherry fragrance and a touch of red colour. Surprisingly enough the red tint is quite visible on the lips so it offers nice functionality. I usually use the Nivea SPF50 liquid/milk in the small white bottle, for your face, and this has always been great as it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. However, this sunscreen doesn't quite agree with my face - the skin goes red after about 5 minutes after I've applied it, and I haven't even stepped into the sun yet?! This is not, however, Nivea's fault, as my skin is insanely sensitive and I don't usually like trying out anything new as it take a good week or 2 to get my skin back to normal after it's reacted badly. I've since been using the on the rest of my body, and using it as a 'travel' sized sunscreen instead, which has worked perfectly well. I don't use sunscreen as often as I did when I was younger (spending a lot more time indoors) but what what I can remember about tropitone is that it absorbs really fast, it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy with beach sand getting stuck to you like a magnet on a fridge and it did it's job pretty well with preventing sun burn, I burn blisters within 20 minutes if I don't use any. The price is really affordable as well, as I've noticed some sun protection can cost you an arm and a leg! I bought it for our first family holiday, when she was only 7 months old. She has extremely sensitive skin, and she has had reactions to several lotions, but the Tropitone waterbabies sunscreen didn't irritate her delicate skin at all. The formula is quite thick, it's not a thin lotion, but it still absorbs well and doesn't leave the skin overly greasy. I use it on myself too, because I also have sensitive skin, and the water babies sunscreen doesn't contain any alcohol or fragrance, which is always a BIG plus in my books. It's a bit pricey, but you can't put a price on your little one's (or your own) skin. I highly reccommend this for every baby bag, and anyone with sensitive skin's hand bag, too. Sun protection was a must for my parents and they always taught us to use a good sun screen before going on the sun as well as reapply. Tropitone is very affordable and easy to spread over the skin. Doesn't leave sking greasy, but moist instead. I love all their range and use the "Tropitone Move it" sunscreen with SPF 30. I love how my colour changes to a gradual tan and doesn't leave me orange,cause the "Oros" look is really not attractive! I am a Fan of their "Tan it Tan oil spray" which has a nice scent and does a great job to give the "sun godess look". Summer asks for tan and tanning is better with Trpitone!
