It is a shiny vibrant platinum silver. The crackling formula is amazing and totally fulfilled my expectations. The cracks were perfect from the first coat. The formula is thin enough to create those fine crackles that I like so much. It applies super easily and dries very fast. I love that the silver colour looks a lot softer on my hands as I found the black one a bit too harsh and goth. Platinum silver looks a lot more delicate which is also great since the winter is now gone with its dark colours. It actually goes well with a whole variety of colours including black, red, white. This polish created a whole lot of combinations that I look forward to trying! Just to recap again, crackle polishes need to go on top of a completely dried polish so I advise to do the base colour the day before you do the crackle on top. It also looks best when topped with a shiny top coat to just give it a sealing coat and add shine. I really recommend the new China Glaze Metallic Crackle line because they work really well.
