On application you can feel that the creamy consistency of the pen makes it the perfect, smudge-able liner to contour and blend into the eyes and with the attached brush - contouring is easy! To my surprise when I applied the eyeliner it appeared to not be very Blue at all, it was more black with a slight blue tinge. The liner was reasonably soft and allowed for precise precision. The eyeliner lasted the entire day and did not smudge or cause any irritation. I was a bit confused about the brush on the other end of the liner, and felt a sponge smudger would have been more of an advantage. It's a beautiful plum coloured khol pencil with fine specks of silver glitter, which goes amazing with green eyes! The look is elegant and each colour pencil is represented on the packaging. Smoky Plum's packaging is in fact a dark plum colour with tiny silver specks - just like the liner itself! They have a range of 7 shades available & I would love to own more of these. There is a brush on the one end which can be used to smoke out the colour on the eyelid. I've been wearing this khol liner to work and at play for the last week, experimenting with different looks & its been really impressive! I have always loved Clarins eye liners and this new khol did not disappoint. Pros: Great colour selection Soft, easy to apply & blend Lasts all day on lash line Cons: Somewhat costly (but worth it!) Transfers slightly to the upper lid, which is normal for any khol pencil.
