It is light-feeling, absorbs well into the skin, doesn't ball up under foundation, doesn't break out sensitive skin. It has SPF 15 which is a great plus for South African climate. It soaks in very well which is nice for oily skin especially in summer. It got rid of my dry patches and is a very nice canvas for applying foundation on top. It doesn't break out my skin which is a huge plus. Overall I was very happy with it. I went to check out the price for a full size product at Edgars and it was R 450! I had never used any Clarins skin product before, so this was my first and I must admit that I’m quite impressed with this cream-gel. The product is super hydrating, yet it feels feather-light on the skin. You don’t need a whole lot of this product to instantly feel a difference as it is easily absorbed into the skin. It literally feels like you are quenching your skin’s thirst when you apply this. What makes this product even better is that it has an initial cooling sensation on your skin, which is wonderful in hot weather. It was especially nice during that extremely hot week we had here in Cape Town when the temperatures reached as high as 40 degrees. In addition, the cream-gel also has a pleasant smell to it and it does not leave your skin greasy at all, even towards the end of the day. I’ve really noticed an improvement in my skin.
