It deep cleanses like no other. I will admit that it is a bit annoying to get the product to come out, but that is just because the consistency is so thick. It does not soap or lather, it has kind of a clay consistency, but it is mostly just granules. You would think that it will dry your skin out, but surprisingly it doesn't. Your skin will feel fresh and smooth after using this. It does have a slight mintiness to it which is quite soothing. I recommend alternating with a gentler exfoliator and to only use this one once / twice a week for a thorough deep cleanse. No matter what other scrub is on the market, I will always turn to this scrub. The scrub has a creamy texture which isn't too rough so it doesn't damage skin but leaves skin feeling amazingly soft and smooth. This exfoliator gently removes dead skin which makes skin look as amazing as ever. I noticed my skin becomes a little tight after using the scrub, but after using the Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser skin becomes normal again. I love the scent, it's so clean and fresh and makes skin feel amazing. It really leaves your skin feeling fresh, clean and tingly. When my skin was really oily I used this all the time and found it quite mattifying. As I've gotten older my skin is drier and I find I cannot use it anymore.
