Its a good cleanser, takes off my makeup without drying my skin or making it feel tight. Although being free of fragrance it does have a pleasant smell. I used the bar soap before, but it was very drying and my skin felt very tight afterwards. Now that I swopped to the foam wash that has disappeared. My skin feels clean and soft and has improved my breakout dramatically. One bottle lasts up to 5 months, so even though it is expensive it lasts longer than most other cleansers. It's non-drying and although it washes away most of my make up, there is still a bit of foundation left on my towel. This could be because I use Revlon Colourstay foundation. Lately I've been removing make up with facial wipes first, before washing with this soap and together they do the job. I like the Johnson's facial wipes (but that's for another review :).
