So anyways I applied it on my face and was dramatically questioning myself on why I never liked it before .. This cleanser removes all the dirt and impurities from your skin like no other! It leaves it looking healthy and the chemicals don't react with my skin .one thing I love about this is that its clinically formulated , allergy tested and wait for it wait for it, its 100% fragrance free!!! I've also realized that the smell was quite decent - I really have noo idea on what had come across me previously! This is my essential and I cannot live without this thing! It removes excess dirt even after you wash your face! - try it you would be surprised!

You can purchase this at red square ( Edgars ) and I have no idea to how much it was as it was gifted to me

It is the only one that is alcohol free making it a winner. the rest of them contain far too much alcohol to be anything more than irritating and stripping to your skin.

In eesence this is actually a BHA product more than a toner, and contains a low, but effective amount of salicylic acid. I have oily combination skin and use this although they recommend it only for sensitive skins.

now if only they would get the rest of their toners on par!

This is my HG toner, exfoliator, clarifying lotion (whatever Clinique chooses to call it).

The Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion is formulated for delicate (read sensitive) skin. This product is dermatologist-developed, allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.

Due to my dry-to-very-dry & sensitive skin, I need a toner that is alcohol-free and gentle on the skin as well as non-drying. Clinique's Mild Clarifying Lotion does this for me.

My only gripe with this product is that Clinique does not offer it in the larger 400ml sizes. However, a 200ml bottle costs R160.00 whereas other toners are priced at R310.00 for the larger 400ml product so the price difference is not felt as much since it's only R10 but I still wish they would just offer it in the 400ml already! It's such a great product and perfect for my skin type.

There are a lot of women who complain of the Clinique Clarifying Lotions which sting, burn or make the skin tight. I experienced this when I initially sampled Clinique but it was with the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2. I'm not sure what the difference is but I suspect the answer could lie somewhere in-between the fact that Mild Clarifying Lotion contains no alcohol and from all other Clarifying Lotions, it contains the least amount of salicylic acid. It is also a much gentler exfoliant than the other Clinique Clarifying Lotions.

Clinique counters usually always give out free samples if you're unsure about your skin type or if you'd like to try out the range before buying so I would definitely recommend visiting the counters and asking for a sample.
