It really works. What I like about it is that it doens't make you look like a disco ball but just adds deep glow when the light hits your body. It sparkles a tiny bit under direct sunlight but is still subtle enough for day wear. The actual lotion is very moisturising and can be a bit too oily in the heat of summer. All Palmerls cocoa butter products are meant to smell like chocolate from what I read, but I really don't like the smell and to me it doesn't resemble chocolate. Not sure if there is something wrong with my bottle. It is not stinky or horrible but I find it unpleasant.
