I didn't think it would. It doesn't dry out my skin. It makes my skin feel smoother, refined and detoxed. I don't use it every week since my skin needs the moisture mask more, but it works well for me as a "deep cleansing mask" now and then. I can't use "real" deep cleansing masks because my skin is dry and sensitive. The smell is just wonderful! I would recommend this since it works really great and is amazingly affordable. It makes the skin feel tight while it dries and really does deliver with the 10 minute facial claim. My only issue with it is that my skin did turn red while using it, but it only happened once and I didn't break out. It also washes off with a hassle.
