This range has such cool packaging and the products look great on my dresser. Sadly my face did not agree. I used it in winter when my skin was going through quite a dry/dehydrated phase, the thick texture of the cream felt super soothing when I put it on. Unfortunately a while later, my skin felt a little irritated. And by morning I had red patches and a bunch of little spots. I did try it a few times after that, but always ended up with the same results. A closer look at the list of ingredients showed quite a few potential irritants. Also the fact that it is in a jar makes it much more likely to harbor bacteria and cause an ongoing issue when used over period of time. All in all.. But it just didn't work for me. So here is my lowdown: the scent is really nice, it makes me think of butter and cream. The texture is like butter as well. It is quite thick but not in a bad way. It is really moisturizing and it feels like it forms a barrier on your skin, which I do like. It does take a bit of effort to apply since it doesn't sink into the skin immediately. But that didn't put me off. My problem with it was that every time I use it my skin will get red, irritated and agitated! My friend used it as well and it did the same to her skin. I left it in my cupboard and tried again after a couple of months but to no avail. The same thing happened. It comes a cute little glass jar and has a great scent. I use it night and day after cleansing and your skin does feel softer yet firmer. Hope that makes sense. The price was good but you can sometimes get it on sale for under R100.00 I imagine this would suit most skin types as it faired well on my extremely sensitive skin.
