I normally would never put soap on my face unless it was designed for facial use! I've used Clinique and body shop facial soaps before and they were both gentle and effective! I saw a challenge recently where you would use dove for seven days and then take a bare faced selfie! I surprised myself with this one! This product is both thoroughly cleansing,lathers into a thick foaming lather and will not dry your skin out as i thought it might! My skin is soft cleansed and dry but not tight! So that means for me when i travel that i can eliminate lugging around excessive facial products! I wouldn't compromise though on day to day use and will continue with my usual regimen but at least i now know my skin wont suffer if i travel with just this for facial and body cleansing which is a major boon!
