I love the rose scent of this mascara. I don’t think I have ever smelled a mascara as pleasant. Although this mascara did not irritate my eyes, it did irritate me as it smudged quite easily, especially in humid weather. I like it if a mascara has the ability to make my lashes look good the entire day. This mascara was not able to. My lashes did look natural for a fair amount of time, but the effect faded away too fast. This mascara was easy to apply. Its unique bendable wand which is designed to reach the smallest corner lashes with ease did just that. The mascara brush is also very full and thick which makes defining your lashes a walk in the park. Easy application is a bonus, but I also want to be able to take mascara off just as efficiently at the end of the day. I found that I couldn’t do that with this mascara. I woke up with a slight case of panda eye. Dr. Hauschka’s Volume Mascara in Black is free of synthetic preservatives and scents.
