I have done a few peel off and face sheet masks, but that's only once in a blue moon. The Environ Original Balancing Masque is a little slice of heaven! It is such a great product because it is multi-functional- yes that's right, multi-function- it an be used as a micro-exfoliant AND a hydrating masque. I know, it's amazing! The Balancing Masque gently polishes your skin, helps unclog pores and removes excess surface oils (this is great for those who have oily skin, as it removes that excess surface oil), whilst simultaneously hydrating your skin which leaves it feeling smoother and softer, with a natural healthy looking glow. Since starting my skincare journey with Environ, I use the Balancing Masque once a week as masque over my Debut Moisturizer before going to bed and twice a week as an micro-exfoliater, which I apply on top of my Pre-Cleanser oil. Truthfully, one of two of my personal faves! It can be used as an exfoliator and as a mask of course. So the price is totally worth it. I love that it doesn't feel too hard on the skin for example when you smile or talk as compared to other masks. It leaves my skin feeling super smooth, its unbelievable. It's also a must have out of the whole Original A range. I found my skin to be a bit more reactive to this product. As the hydrating masque left overnight or 20-30 minutes i found that i would wake up with a few blemishes and patches of irritation. When i use it as a exfoliator i found that my skin responded a lot better than as a masque. I love that as an exfoliator it is gentle enough to use on a daily basis! In the beginning of my trial I was using this product over my pre-cleanser quite often but I found it made my skin very oily! Turns out I was using it incorrectly for my skin type. I changed up my routine and only use the masque once a week now or twice when its feeling a bit dry. I can definitely notice my new radiant glow and so have others! Its an amazing feeling being able to go out in public make-up free and still feeling confident which I haven't been able to do in a while!
