The pencil is intensely black and is probably the blackest pencil eyeliner I have ever used. The effect is super black and glossy, almost wet looking. It could very easily mistaken for liquid eyeliner in appearance. It applies smoothly with no tugging on the delicate eyelid skin. There are a few drawbacks to this product: this eyeliner is not smudgeproof, does not last a long time on the waterline and might be too harsh for very fair skin ladies.
