Essence Colour & Go Nail Polish in " Everybody's Talking About"

This is a shade from Essence's funky Colour & Go range. There are so many shades to choose from, but I chose this shade called "Everybody's Talking About" because it looked like a beautiful shade for sandalled feet! This polish only requires one application because the brush has a broad, flat surface and your manicure should only take only 1 second per nail. It doesnt say on the bottle whether that 1 second is for the actually painting of the nail or the drying of the nail, but because the bottle promises a "quick dry", I can only assume the 1 second is intended to predict the drying time. These nailpolishes are 5ml and are priced at around R19,99 from selected Clicks branches.

Why should i be surprised?
Tried the product in a smokey grey, loved it as it worked well in winter, almost chip-free.
Greys were trending at the time, hence made a statement just with my nails!

This nail polish is of a very high quality for it's price range..this specific colour is a gorgeous deep dark red which reminds you of the 50's old hollywood glamour, thus it is aptly titled "so glamourous". I used 2 coats to intensify the colour. The first dried fast, the second took a little longer but it didn't leave any bubbles or streaks and it looked smooth, shiny and sophisticated!

The colour in the bottle was stunning, but contrary to their promise that I would only need one coat, I needed to apply two coats and the resultant shade was more red then coral. This polish definitely takes longer then 1 seconds to dry and I also found that the paint chipped within hours of application. It was very easy to apply though and was relatively quick to dry.
