Usually when things say waterproof it really isn't so I decided to put this liner to the test. I love using eyeliner and application was super easy with this one with its sleek pen-like design. It was amazing to use and just glided perfectly and completed each look I decided to try. It was indeed waterproof, sometimes when I yawned and my eyes teared up a bit the liner didn't smudge at all. The fine tip makes cat eyes a breeze and also lining your inner eye to give it that extra cat-like pizazz. It's black as night and easy to build up a good wing, what really attracted me to this liner though was that I found it quite long lasting as I swatched it on my hand and it would not budge even when I tried to rub it off its also much darker than the original pen liner which tends to look a little on the grey side. And in my own defense I did buy all the liquid pen eyeliners Essence had on the shelf. The product itself is not bad at all (when it works), but I found it to not last that long, After a few uses it just don't give that black ink look it did in the beginning. The tip is super amazing and thin and gives for amazing winged liner application but it the product inside tend to let down.
