Normally I love anything Essence, but these nose strips didn't do anything for my skin. For around R24 you receive only three strips. I followed the instructions in the booklet and applied the strips as stated. However, when I removed them I found that a lot of sticky blue residue remained on my nose. Normally a nose strip should peel blackheads right off, but this one left plaster instead. I wont be buying this product again, that's for sure. I felt it really didn't do justice to what it was meant to do. I was disappointed that you only get 3 single strips in the pack, but i liked that they were blue - different. I'm a firm believer in pore strips, they can completely change the overall look and feel of your skin - that said, i've tried my fair share of different brands. For me, these pore strips didn't appear to do anything except leave a gooey blue residue on my nose. I often sneak into Clicks for a quick scout as they have always got a nice range of aforable products. I came across these strips on one of my missions and was quite excited to give them a try. There used to be strips when I was growing up but them all seemed to disapear off the market when I hit my late teens and needed them the most. I have fairly good skin - even tones, hardly get blemishes ( only around that time of month and even then quite small ) but I do get blackheads. I exfoliate, I go to facials, I do purifying masks, etc...the usual assortment but nothing full works. So when I stumbled across this little pack I thought WOW! I rember these from years ago, though a different brand it was the same concept and it used to work wonders. I grabbed a pack and promptly bought them. I followed the instructions later that evening, waited for it to dry and then peeled off the patch. Ok, so it kinda worked if you hold it to the light, but no major dif. There isn't too much to say about them. They do their job. They don't miraculously remove all your blackheads, but they definitely help clear some up. If I use these 3 days in a row then I can notice a difference. If you take a look at the strip after using it you will see how well it works (eeww!) They are quick and easy to use. I'm not a huge fan of their smell, but it's not overly offensive. I've used these a few times and also used other brands nose strips. There isn't any real difference, expect maybe in price.
