Its a gel-consistency formula that moisturizes really well. I also found that if I pat this onto my forehead when its having one of its shiny/oily days, it really does a great job of getting rid of the excessive shine. The moisture also lasts the entire day through, and doesn't result in oily or shiny skin, or any over-production of sebum.
