On the bottle it states that it should be used twice a day in the mornings and evenings. I used the Deep pore unclogging wash in combination with the Blackhead clearing scrub by using the Deep pore unclogging wash in the mornings and the Blackhead clearing scrub in the evenings. One pump is enough to get the right amount of face wash and it foams up really nicely. Once on the skin it has an amazingly cooling refreshing feel to it but doesn’t sting in the least as I have sensitive skin and was worried that it may be too harsh. The product contains as much as 2% salicylic acid which is quite impressive as salicylic acid is known to have exfoliant properties in that it is able to penetrate the follicle and encourages the shedding of dead skin cells from within the follicle, helping keep the pores clear of cellular debris. I don’t get too many spots, only the occasional one so I can’t really say what effect it has on them but overall my skin felt very clean, down to the pore.
