Gelish looks good initially, but I wash the dishes daily so it started looking trashy very quickly. I paid quite a bit of money for this and expected it to last bit longer than it did. I love the finish and the colour selection. But unfortunately my nails just grow too fast and I feel that the effort to remove it, is just too much for me. Also after removing, my nails are very brittle and sensitive. I've used it many times, but then realised I couldn't stand what my nails felt like afterwards. I have naturally brittle nails. It is really easy and quick to apply and when the dreaded time comes to remove it - it soaks off in no time. However, I really think the formula needs a bit of work. It just remains tacky for such a long time and it lifts quite easily. This is a polisg that applies normally yet still gives you a high quality gel mani/pedi . It's available at most nail bars in a variety of colours. It set with a uv light but takes half the time to apply compared to regular gel. There is little to no damage on application and removal of this. When one of my friends raved about Gelish, I thought that it was too good to be true. I decided to book a treat for myself at Sorbet salon and they say the rest is history. Application of Gelish is a dream and in less than half an hour you are left with dazzling nails that last at least a month! The colour selection is amazing and its hard to choose a colour. My favourite colour is Black Cherry which is a really dark maroon shade which flatters most skin tones. Whats more amazing is the fact that its a breeze to remove and theres virtually zero damage to the nails! I grew my nails for the occasion so decided to get overlays instead of tips. The end results is gorgeous, but stayed that way for about a week (I had the french) until it needed to come of. After this I have gone for numerous gelish mani/pedi's and find that the solid colors last much, much longer than the french paint does.
