The scrub is a clear gel with tiny brown bits of crushed grape kernels. The fragrance is light and smells more like a vineyard (leafy-earthy, slightly grapey smell) than actual grapes. It works by massaging it on to wet skin and then rinsing it off. I find that there aren’t as many scrubby bits in the gel as I would have like which made me use more of the scrub. I previously used a sugar scrub so in comparison this scrub is really gentle. It did not leave my skin dry but I still had to use a body lotion afterwards. It’s a good scrub and so inexpensive.
