To my surprise it did work(after sometime) to clear the acne however, it left my skin extremely dried out for a few days afterwards, Young Solutions is a great and affordable teenage range but, I do not believe it works for all. After applying it I did see a reduction in the size of my spots but it took a while for them to completely clear out. I would also like to point out that this product would not be ideal to use for the treatment of severe acne, it works best to remedy those spots that pop out every now and then. I have tried this one or 2 others that are equally impressive as this. It's a clear gel like formula that was really quite cheap and lasts forever . The product works to break down the pimple within a day or 2 . It dries it up before it becomes nasty. I love that it doesn't leave behind any scars but breaks it down in layers just removing layers of the pimple at a time . Headed down to clicks and bought 2 products to get rid of the "3 sisters" on my face, one of them being this little red number. It contains salicylic acid which dries out the pimple fast. Only problem I had with it is that it dried out not just the pimple but the whole area around it and actually started peeling :-( But Im sure it will be ok in time for the party in 3 days, as long as that pimple disappeared. Product smells "clean" and fresh. Stings a bit on application, but disappears after a few seconds. What I like about this product is the fact that it actually works and not after days but immidately and effectively. It contains ingredients such as Salicylic Acid which decreases inflammation, and clears spots without over drying your skin. After your normal cleansing routine at night just apply one drop on the pimple (well I even use it during the day) and done the rest is up to the product to do all the hard working of insuring a smooth skin in the morning.
