My nails are very damadged from continuous use of nail polish ( I love nail polish so much - if I had a fire in my house, my nails polishes would be the first thing I would grab after family photos LOL). After using up the whole bottle of this, I am sad to say it didn't do much as far as strengthening goes. BUT - it was a pretty good basecoat! At R29 a pop, it is very affordable and performs pretty well. It has a very rubberry jellyish texture that I find great for evening out ridges and creating a great base for nail colour. With this base coat I get at least 4 days of chip free wear. It also prevents nail staining very well. I also love the rubbery brush - they apply very smooth layers.
