If used correctly it makes painting the tips a lot easier. You just twist your nail under the brush. It works though it took me a couple of tries to get used to it. The white polish is very opaque and you will need only one coat on the tips to get that french look. The brush of the sheer pink color is also unusual and I absolutely adore it. It is gigantic and thick. It literally covers the whole nail with one sweep which helps to prevent streaks that are so common for such light colors. It is a beautiful shade as well and really reminds me of Essie Mademoiselle which I also own. I love that the polish seems to set by itself. You don't need to brush it out many times to make it even. Overall the set is great. My only complaint is the size of the bottles - they are quite small. I do believe they are still worth R50. When I run out I will just refil the bottles with my other similar shades so that I can use those 2 great brushes that are so perfect for French Manicure!
