As I couldn't find my usual mascara (Revlon 3d photoready in black) in waterproof, so the sales consultant offered this up as the next best thing. It is a really good quality mascara as it did not smudge, flake or run when I cried, it still looked as gorgeous as when it was first applied. It a deep intense black which i like and it thickened up my last beautifully - gave me that false lash look which was great. The worst part was, its a PAIN to remove, I now have a once used mascara in my bag, so for me it was a waste of money for me as I definitely wont use it again. The L’Oreal Lash Architect was fantastic in this regard. The texture is nice and creamy like a non-waterproof one and no flakes in sight at the end of the day, so I can say that it has a good 8 hour wear. Thumbs up for the blacker than black effect, texture and long wear. Not a smudge in sight which is the whole point of waterproof. The only downsides to me would be that it doesn’t really lengthen or thicken dramatically as its names suggests and is quite an ordeal to remove! My normal facewash (Eucerin cleansing gel) which normally removes all my makeup seamlessly didn’t remove it and I had to buy an oil-based eye makeup remover to remove it the next day!!
