I do think that it is overpriced but I convince myself that its a little spoil! I'm fully aware that you get lip scrubs for about R15 in Dischem (or even less if you DIY) but this one is too cute to refuse. It's my way to bide the time before I purchase the Jeffree Star Cosmetics lip scrub. Although its edible, I don't feel comfortable eating it, especially if it means me purposefully eating a whole of dead skin cells with it. The bubblegum flavor was the first one I bought because, duh, it's pink!! Lush's lip scrubs are super effective in removing dead, flaky skin from the lips, and what's great is they don't leave your lips feeling sore or dry. These lip scrubs are completely edible, but I tend to wipe the product off with a soft cloth. I usually finish with a nourishing lip balm just for extra moisture. I normally use my lip scrub either once a week, or whenever I'll be wearing a matte lipstick, as it creates a perfectly smooth canvas for lipstick application. Although these scrubs are a bit expensive, I think it's totally worth it because they last a long time and make great gifts! Just a tiny finger scoop of this castor sugar based scrub and a quick rub on the lips is all you need to visibly flake free and moist lips. I bought mine last month and i was told you may lick it after application i was like...say whaaaat?lol i tried it out and it actually does tastes yummy!My lips was so soft and smooth afterwards, removing all the dry skin from my lips which actually made it easier for me to apply my lipstick resulting in a polished look.There are different flavored ones in store such as the mint julips and popcorn which also smells great!I can't wait to get my hands on the popcorn lip scrub which will be my next attempt!:) ]]> Wed, 27 Nov 2013 17:02:01 +0000
