I bought this brush about 5 years ago at the MAC store in Canal Walk. I've loved and hated this product in the past, but the more I watched great make-up tutorials the more I started using this brush, and I do love it again. I like to apply my foundation with this brush, but end it off with a Real Techniques buffing brush just to get that even finish. The brush is soft on your face, but can leave some streaks if you're not careful, I've also had some of the bristles fall out. Most satisfying thing about this brush is when you wash it, the tip becomes that beautiful white again. The Mac 187 brush is a large full circular brush used for lightweight application and blending of face powder or pigments. You can use it to create soft layers or add textures. It's versatility is phenomenal. You can layer a thin deposit of moisturiser on your face, buff on your foundation and apply a cream or powder blush all in one go with this unbelievably incredible brush! I LOVE this baby! In a few circular motions my foundation is applied so flawlessly! Quick Tip : Spot apply your foundation all over your face then slowly buff your make-up into your skin with the187 brush. Do this in a very relaxed -small circular motion. Remembering to layer up a second "coat" of foundation to problem areas. Wait a minute or two then set your face with powder. This face brush is made from a soft blend of goat and synthetic fibres so be gentle with the fine hairs. All Mac brushes are individually hand crafted so expect the prices to be a lil bit on the steep side. Price: R450.00 ( worth the money for a high quality item that will last years and years.)
