It is best used for blending out eyeshadow in the crease and outer corner. It has natural bristles. They are fluffy, dome-shaped and are quite stiff. The stiffness is essential for blending. It works really well. After using this brush it is hard to see where one eye shadow colour ends and another ones begins. That is exactly the look to aim for. When one can distinguish colour stripes, makeup looks quite unprofessional. I have also bought a Revlon crease brush but the effectiveness is not comparable so I haven't found any cheaper dupes for the MAC brush as yet. I doubt that will change as this brush is universally known as the best one for blending. The quality is great as usual and it doesn't shed any bristles. The handle is also nice and long - very good for precision. One thing I don't like about the brush is that it is quite big. I have small lid space and hooded eyes so it is not as easy to create intricate looks with this brush.
