The shape of the brush allows you to pat eyeshadow on instead of swiping it on which is better for blending afterwards. It has natural bristles that are stiff but soft at the same time. The brush is relatively small so I can work more delicately with colours. It picks up eyeshadow very well, but I do find myself reaching out for my Palladio eye blending brush when I apply eyeshadow over a larger area of the eyelid (like a wash of colour all over the eyelid) simply because it is larger and it picks up even more shadow so the application is quicker for me. But when I work with darker colours and need to be more precise, the MAC brush is the one to use. The quality is excellent as usual. It hasn't shed a single hair and dries very fast because it is so thin. I love that this brush is extremely soft and versatile. It picks up colour really easily and deposits it perfectly as well. The brush is dense but also fluffy enough to blend colour while still being able to pack on colour for a more intense look. It can also be washed really easily and dries over night. The tip of the brush is perfect for smudging eyeliner or apply eyeshadow on the lower lash line, which adds to the versatility of the brush.
