It is an orangey red with a matte formula. This shade is universally flattering but will pop on olive, tan and deeper skin tones. This lipstick is perfect for the beauty that wants a pop of colour without the BAM factor. It is NOT transfer proof, to be fair, nothing is. if you eat or drink, it will break down the formula.
