I find that it does a decent job of controlling oil and maintaining a good moisture balance simultaneously. My makeup applies beautifully over top and this has not caused me to break out all. It also smells divine - bonus. I will say 1 more thing: buying the travel size is definitely more bang for your buck. R160.00 for 30ml in the travel size vs. R450.00 for 50ml in the full size.
