My other two are both satin finishes, whereas this is a sheer tone finish. I love the shade and I really don't feel that it should be limited to only being a winter colour. It does not have massive colour pay off, which in this case is nice, because you can gradually build up the colour to the intensity that you desire. The formula is really nice - it is not powdery, it is not patchy and it lasts really well throughout the day. Always always always test the colour you are buying! I'd allowed myself to get into a comfort zone with MAC! Usually whatever was recommended from lipcolours to foundation worked for me and so i purchased recommendations! I had wanted a winey rosy blush to make my cheeks pop! This would look gorgeous as the highlighted feature on a nude face! It's probably suited for NC 50 or deeper ! I'm a NW 42 to a NC 45! This makes me look like I've got punched in the face! Look its merits are that it delivers colour true pigments but even with using a highlighter and a pale blush to soften its simply too loud and severe for me!
