The colour is more red than cerise and very bold.One coat should be sufficient but a second coat gives full color and a mirror shine with no need for top coat. I wore Cerise for about 5 days without top coat and on day five had noticeable tip wear without chipping and vibrant coluor. Max Factor Glossfinity nail polish range gives long lasting colour.
