I purchased these from NailCandi who offer online services with delivery of your ordered products. They retail for R15 a tub, which consists of 38 scented sheets. These pads are from USA and I received the rose and a lilac variant. They are convenient in removing nail polish and keeps cuticles moist and healthy. The pads come housed in cute plastic tubs that twist open to reveal neatly stacked white pads. There is no liquid or loss matter in the tub which makes me a tad weary as I feel the remover soaked into the pads may evaporate rather quickly. The smell is very vivid and matches exactly what they are meant to smell like. The label on the lid is very striking yet minimal. There is a background of a paisley print and the top has a coloured flower in the choice of scent;red roses for the rose scented pads and a purple flower to represent the lilac remover pads. The nail polish remover pads are so gentle on my nails and surrounding skin but extremely effective in removing all traces of nail colour. They do not dry out my nails or cause any dis-colouration and 1 pad can be used on at least 2 nails for darker nail varnish colours. The pads are circular and quiet spongy and porous in texture, this did make holding them much harder as it slipped a little between my fingers. You do quickly adjust to this thin slippery feeling and it becomes easier to handle. They aren’t very effective on glitter infused nail varnish or the beaded, crack-effect and magnet-effect styles. For R15 though, they are a steal and work 100% better than my L.A Colors tub. This is a great sized emergency-saver for your handbag or car as it can be used in a hurry and as it contains cuticle oil helps to nourish your nail bed too.
