The hard plastic bristles make it quite difficult to really coat the lashes and I found it wasn't as volumising as I was expecting. I have fairly long lashes but found that this mascara didn't do much for me. It clumps and doesn't fulfil its promise to separate lashes one by one! I like the look of the brush as I much prefer comb like bristles and it helps with last seperation and lengthening. I found that even though the brush head is big, it was easy to use and I didn't poke my eyes out. This created great volume and thickened up my lashes quite a bit without any clumping. Luckily for me, I have a natural upward curl so this worked great. I bought the washable version and surprising there was no panda eyes or flaking later on in the day which is a huge bonus! I really like this mascara and is value for money.
