I realize, by reading other reviews that it is not really the kit or not following the instructions - it is time! You have to be so very patient when applying these as each layer needs time to dry and believe me, it is not quick drying. My result though, was flawless and I have to admit that I liked them a lot more than what I had done in a salon (she made them uneven, which drives me mad). I do believe that the price is affordable and with a little practice you can get perfect gel nails every time! In terms of how long did they last, my OCD does get the better of me by the latest, day 10 and I am forced to remove them - but I am sure if you are not as painful as me, you would make them last longer!
